Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. Individual Sessions:

1. Cancellation by Student

  • Before 12 Hours: Students may cancel and have the session credited back to their package.
  • Within 12 Hours: Cancellations are allowed but do not qualify for credit refunds.

Students may request rescheduling directly from the tutor (approval at tutor’s discretion).

2. Rescheduling by Student

  • Up to 8 Hours Before Session:
  • Students may reschedule without penalty (no loss of session credit).
  • ("Repeated last-minute cancellations may restrict booking privileges.")
  • No-Show Policy: If a student fails to attend a session and does not show up within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, the session is marked as a no-show and is non-refundable.
  1. Refund Method:
  • Session Credit: For any permitted cancellation (e.g., more than 12 hours before the session), the student will receive the session credited back to their package.
  • Platform Credits: Students will only receive platform credits in cases where they cancel their entire package. These credits can be used for booking with other tutors on the platform.
  1. Group Classes:
  • Non-Refundable and Non-Reschedulable: Once booked, group classes cannot be canceled, rescheduled, or refunded.
  • Platform-Initiated Cancellations: If the platform cancels a group class, students will receive platform credit as a refund.
  1. Package Cancellations:
  • Refund Conditions: Students may cancel a package for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if no sessions have been attended or used.
  • Usage of Credits: Students who cancel a package will receive a refund as platform credit, which can be used with any other tutors on the platform.
  • Package Validity: Each package is valid for 3 months from the purchase date. After 3 months, any unused sessions will expire and are neither refundable nor usable.
  1. Tutor-Initiated Cancellations:
  • If a tutor cancels a session within the 8-hour window, the student will be refunded with the session credited back to their package.
  • In emergency situations, the tutor may issue a refund with the platform admin's approval.
  1. Exceptional Circumstances:
  • Emergencies: For urgent situations impacting attendance, students can contact the admin to request rescheduling or a refund. These requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Technical Issues: The platform is not responsible for technical problems on the student’s side. Students are encouraged to verify their tech setup before the session. However, if a technical issue occurs on the platform or tutor's side, compensation in the form of platform credit may be provided after review.
  1. Last-Minute Requests:
  • Requests Within 6 Hours: If a student needs to cancel or reschedule a session within 8 hours of the start time, they may request this from the tutor. Approval is at the tutor's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
